Half-Time Changes
During the half-time window, you can make tactical adjustments to influence the second half.
What You Can Change
- Substitutions - Swap players on and off the pitch
- Formation - Switch to a different formation entirely
- Game plan - Change from Balanced to All Out Attack, etc.
- Match shout - Update your team instructions
- Strategies - Adjust in-possession and out-of-possession strategies
- Man marking - Assign or remove man-marking instructions
The Half-Time Window
- The half-time window opens and closes at set times
- You'll receive a notification when it opens
- Changes must be submitted before the window closes
- If you don't make changes, your first-half setup continues
When to Make Changes
- You're losing and need more attacking threat
- Your opponent is dominating a particular zone
- A player is underperforming and a sub could improve things
- Your current game plan isn't working
Auto-Shouts
If you have the Assistant Manager auto-shouts feature enabled, tactical shout changes will be made automatically based on the match situation.
