Understanding Player Valuations and Wages
Transfers & Players
Player Valuations and Wages
Every player has a calculated valuation and weekly wage that affects your club's finances.
How Valuations Work
Player valuations are calculated from:
- Real-world performance ratings - Better performers are worth more
- Age - Younger players carry a premium
- Position scarcity - Rare positions command higher prices
- Recent form - In-form players see valuation increases
- Match fitness - Consistently available players are valued higher
Wages
- Every player has a weekly wage based on their quality
- Wages are deducted from your budget each week
- Total wage bill is shown on the Finances page
- High-wage players can strain your budget even if they're great performers
Managing Your Wage Budget
- Keep an eye on your total wage bill vs income
- Selling high-wage players you don't use is good financial management
- New signings add to your wage bill - factor this into transfer decisions
- Wage budgets are not capped, but overspending will drain your balance
Valuation Updates
Valuations update regularly based on real-world data syncs. A player who goes on a great run of form in real life will see their WLM valuation increase.
